A:Answer Vast majority of monitors do not have speakers, they are not really intended for the purpose of speakers... That being said I have a slightly different model than this one, but mine has an AUX/Headphone jack. You could take an AUX cord and connect it to a set of speakers (I have that) and you will then have sound... IF using this for a PC and not a console you will just have to change the sound output between your headset and monitor when wanting the sound from the monitor or headset. This can be done by going on the bottom right of the screen, right clicking the little sound option, clicking "Open Sound Settings" and then changing the output from your headset to your monitor or vise versa!
