Q: QuestionI'm order to get 4k hdr via hdmi port, on thismonitor you have to turn off the free sync feature .which means the refresh rate will only be 144 hz not full 240 hz. With free sync on via hdmi you get only 1080p. which version hdmi is this 2.0?

• A:Answer If doesn't matter if this is a 4k monitor or not, it's an HDR monitor and it should accept a 4k signal to pull HDR from, like the CHG70. They did fix the G7 with an update, 1005.2 but it still doesn't allow 4k60HDR with VRR like you get with the CHG70, which makes no sense because the G7 is considered an upgrade.

Q: QuestionWhy am I unable to get 1440p@120fps on a Xbox series x? I can only get 1440p@60hs or 1080p@120fps. I just purchased this 27” g7 for that exact reason and now I am unable to run the desired 1440p@120fps.

• A:Answer It will be in your Xbox settings. I was able to get mine to work with my XBOX over HDMI and get it 1440p with 120FPS. I think you have to disable 4k check box, then enable 1440p. Try and search for it on YouTube. I think that is where I found the best settings guide.

Q: QuestionI have this monitor but it only gives 144 Hz on hdmi port and support 240 Hz on display port. But my laptop does not have display port it has hdmi 2.1, so if use adapter of hdmi 2.1 to display port 1.4 will it work ?

• A:Answer Thank you for your question! For the best image quality results maintaining VRR and HDR support, we recommend avoiding adapters where possible. Use of an HDMI 2.1 to DP 1.4 connection may allow you to achieve a faster refresh rate; however, this is largely dependent on the specs of the adapter being used. Samsung does not offer any recommendations for adapters to use.

• A:Answer It depends on the device you are using the monitor with. if you try using it on a ps5 like this no matter how hard you try you won't be able to get 240hz.At the max it will be 120.But if you're using this on PC I would just use the included display port as it is much faster.

• A:Answer It’s according to how the monitor is adjusted, but I wouldn’t say that it had anti glare, it has a beautiful picture, if you adjust the brightness down to suite yourself , it’ll be fine! It also according to lighting around you, especially behind you, now that kind of glare won’t adjust out, i’m tell ya, if you try this monitor you’ll be pleased! No glare!

• A:Answer It's a moniter, not a pc. It cant run something by itself, it only displays what is being inputted. You can connect a PS5 or Xbox to it, as well as as pc but it cant run things completely on its own.

Q: QuestionWhy are you still selling these? These monitors have backlight flickering with Adaptive Sync enabled. The firmware did not fix the issue. They're all broken unless you disable adaptive sync AKA gsync. That's a key feature which should not need disabled

• A:Answer You haven't tested it correctly. That's why you haven't noticed. Open CineBench R23, and run a single core test. Make sure windows and the Nvidia driver have Gsync enabled and under Graphics Settings, VRR enabled. Now, make sure the monitor has adaptive sync enabled. Now, open the monitor's information popup to show current refresh rate. Now, with the cinebench single core test running, you should see the frame rate is now adaptive and changing. Now, tell me what the entire outer section of your screen looks like. Be honest. Thanks.
