- Answer I am not sure about tower computer. I bought this monitor from Best Buy for my son and he has connected both lap top and Chromebook and working very good.

- Answer yes, it's just a monitor so you'll need a pc(the pc itself is the actual computer part). the monitor is just the way you see whats seeing whats happening.

QuestionI finished doing some work last night and this morning the monitor wouldn’t turn on. I tried all that I could think of and even took it to a different outlet to see if the PC was the problem, but it still wouldn’t turn on. Is there anything I can do?

- Answer I have a Targus docking station that handles my audio as well. However, I think you could just use a USB or the HDMI ports to attach the secondary monitor. In windows 10 you can go to settings and system and display. The Samsung comes with a bunch of cables.

- Answer Probably only thru converter USB C to HDMI , please check with tech or call Best Buy first. This one supports display port, HDMI And VGA only, so you need some kind of converter - IF the chrome book USB C supports video out, please double check that also.
