QuestionVG-STC4000 with UN32EH5300 (2)Dear Mr. Samsung: Thanks for your answer. I believe the camera is fine. The instructions manual states: "the blue led of the camera will turn on after you connect it to the TV, then it will be off after a while. This indicator led turns on only during a call" Before I upgraded the firmware, that is what the camera did. The TV didn't recognize it but still the blue led was on and off after a while. Since I upgraded the firmware the blue led keeps on all the time. Could you please elevate my request to Samsung to check if the latest firmware of the TV is compatible with this camera? - Answer SamsungFan14, I have some bad news, and this is rare - the answer I posted was incorrect. For the EH Series, you will need the VG-STC3000 model. Unfortunately, we tested this with the latest firmware also, and got the same result as you. If you can, return the unit to your retailer and find the VG-STC3000 model. (The STC4000 was supposed to be compatible, and it is not.) If you are past the return policy with Best Buy, please ask the store to honor our mistake (print this out if necessary) and I will be happy to explain to their people that I was mistaken. Most store managers, I hope, would be sympathetic since we did suggest that it would work. I'll also have that answer removed when I hear back from you. If you still have trouble, post back and we'll work to get in touch with you somehow and see if something can be done to escalate it on our end. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, and we'll work to make this right. --Mr. S

QuestionVG-STC4000 with UN32EH5300Dear Mr. Samsung: I already purchased the VG-STC4000 camera and installed in the UN32EH5300. After not being recognized the camera by SKYPE I proceeded to upgrade the firmware of the TV (ver 2001.3). I restarted the TV and reinstalled SKYPE (ver: 2.140411). When I disconnect and reconnect the camera I get "Connect to USB Camera and Mic" and in 2 secs I get "USB Mic and Camera disconnected." The blue led in the webcam keeps on, so I know the camera works fine. I have tried installing it in the only two USBs ports that the TV has, with the same results. Any advice?

- Answer SamsungFan14, Updating the television was the best idea - always check to make sure no new versions are available. It sounds like the camera is connecting, but then disconnecting - and unfortunately, there's not much to diagnose. Here's a guide for using Skype - and if this doesn't help solve the issue, you may want to reach out to the Samsung customer service center directly - or see if you can exchange the camera. - Answer This camera is used on a Samsung TV that has an option to use it. Most of their Smart TV's have that option. I believe the new Smart TV's from Samsung have the camera built in.

QuestionI need driver for WebCam VG-STC4000 ?I got samsung tv UN55HU8550FXZA on 12-04,14 and on February I got the web cam when I plugged to the TV,at SKYpe my family can't see me but I see them and hearing,the tv say not driver found I chatted with 3 samsung rep... and they did not fixed my problem..............
