- Answer MAC or Windows it uses the exFAT file system which means no reformatting needed for each type of computer since it works seamlessly between them.

QuestionCan this be used to clone an iMac internal hard drive and used as the boot disk? I've looked into the procedure to do this and am looking for a good SSD for this purpose. They put very slow hard drives in 2019 iMacs.

- Answer You can’t do that directly but you can through a computer, I.e. the SSD does not connect directly to the iPhone but to the computer. You connect the iPhone to the computer, the SSD to the computer, and then transfer the files to the SSD just as if you were transferring to the computer’s internal hard drive.

- Answer Bob, the ports speeds between 3.0 vs 3.1 is 2X. So speeds will always be dependent on the port and the processor speeds of the device it's plugged into. The max read/write speeds of the Samsung T7 are 1,050/1,000MB/s, respectively. Hope this helps

- Answer I have bought the 1tb and 500gb versions of the product. Both came with 2 cables. A Usb-A to Usb-C cable and a Usb-C to Usb-C cable. The length of both cables is approximately 14.5 inches.

- Answer If you are referring to use it for games and other data on the PC, you can't as the format PS5 uses is different from what PC reads. You should be able to look at photos that's on the drive, but in terms of using it to play games from, your PS5 won't be able to until you format the drive for your PS5 which erases any data on the drive.

- Answer Yes you can, and I don't see it taking anything close to along time. that is a relative question. you would not only need to have billons & billons of photos to slow this down. even then it would take some being lost in your pc or broken photos. to slow things down. And that would be you devises software trying to find it or fix it. Not the mighty SAMSUNG. if that was to happen just tell it to skip that one. you can likly put all you photos one this one for the rest of your Life. LOVE mine .olny thing that scares me is if was lost. so easy fix just hook it up to a safe device you keep put away & copy them to it. I copy just do to had a backup not work once.happy shooting!!!
