Difference, This SSD allows you to transfer massive files within seconds with the incredible speed of USB 3.2 Gen 2 on the T7. The embedded PCIe NVMe technology delivers blazing fast sequential read/write speeds of up to 1,050/1,000 MB/s, respectively, making the T7 almost twice as fast as the previous T5 model. ^Samsung Memory
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello, The difference between the two for me would be the speed. I am a Actor, Comedian and Filmmaker. so I make tons of content from funny comedy skits to filming my comedy shows, Film projects…..ETC The videos are huge to transfer to edit and with the T7 it helps because it doesn’t take as long as the T5 and the T7 doesn’t heat up like some of the other SSD I have use. I hope this helps and good luck with your future endeavors.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are a few, but the primary difference is read and write speeds. In real-world testing, the T7 tends to be closer to 1,000MBps read and 800MBps write. The T5 is capable of reaching 505MBps read and 480MBps write speeds in real-world testing.
