I too didn’t know about the rainbow effect until I read a review that mentioned it. Now I notice it every so often but it lasts for a split second only. At first it was bothering me but now I am able to ignore it. The frequency of appearance is low too. Another point to consider. The display of white text on the screen shows a red/blue border on top/bottom of each character. I have not been able to reach any one at Samsung to figure out a fix. No one at BestBuy has helped either. Appears to be some color convergence correction issue, possibly. These are all minor irritating issues but having paid over $7,500 for this projector they are inexcusable. Having said all this, I still decided to keep it because the other features such as short throw, rapid start up and picture quality were compelling. If you don’t need short throw, I would strongly suggest you look at another brand of projector.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I too have the red and blue vertical color shift issue, was there a resolution?

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I picked up the projector last winter and have had no issues with the picture. It’s bright enough to watch around the clock in my living room with normal ambient light, projected on a wall with no gain benefits.

Please try again later.Hi Phoenix, The Premiere Triple Laser Short Throw Throw Projector does not utilize a color wheel which may be the source of the type of effect you mention. Our LSP9T projector is backed by a limited 2-year manufacturer warranty should you experience any issues. ^Val
