I would think so as long as the video card is rated for 4k, and the source material is also 4k. I'm using this monitor for graphics work, and have not tried watching any 4k other than a few videos from YouTube.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Well yes, assuming you have the video card to support a 4K output, yes you can. I'm not sure if I'm understanding the question correctly but if you are able to output to true 4K resolution (dependent on your video card and monitor - this monitor IS 4K) then a movie should play fine, but of course other factors like RAM and hard drive speed etc.... those are involved too. But generally speaking, you shouldn't have a problem. I just bought a VIZIO TV from Best Buy in March. 43" for like $350 and it includes a Google ChromeCast as well as "channels" like YouTube, Hulu, Netflix etc... that'd be the BEST option for watching movies.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Well,I have a 7700K,Gtx 1080,and 16gb ram,so I guess it will run fine right?
