Connect the Ethernet to the monitor, and you can get the wired internet connection via USB-C on a laptop/etc. My laptop has no port for the ethernet cable, and this solves that annoying problem.

Please try again later.Page 16 of the User Manual states "If a PC is connected to the monitor using a USB Type-C cable, connect a LAN cable to this port to connect the PC to the network." If a laptop or PC is connected to the monitor with a USB-C cable, the laptop or PC may not have a dedicated ethernet/network port. Using this LAN port on the monitor will allow you to connect to your network.
