“Do I need the stacking kit to use the pedestal or does the pedestal come with everything needed”

• No you do not unless your stacking appliances. I purchased found out I did not need the kit just to put dryer on so returned. I love it the dryer is higher so not as much bending down to get clothes out. Best of luck.

• It has everything needed. The stacking kit is only used to put the appliances themselves vertically. Built-in clamps at each corner are spread open, the appliance feet are set in small depressions and the clamps closed capturing the feet. Except for lifting the units atop the pedestal, very easy to install.

• We didn’t buy anything additional. Our machines went right on the pedestal. The delivery guys put our machines on them for us. So much better having these.
