No special installation is required. Simply put the washer or dryer on top of the pedestal. There is only a small level that you need to close to secure the machines in place. Very simple. If you have Best Buy deliver they will install them for you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are 4 clamshell clips that clamp over the footers of the washing machine. A screw holds the two pieces of the clip together, locking the feet onto the pedistal. Make sure the width of your machine matches the pedistal, as a 31" wide machine pedistal wont capture the legs of a 27" wide machine. To install, put the machine on its side, attach the pedistals then tilt the machine back upright, then slide the attached unit into place. When moving the machine I suggest cleaning the floor and rubber pedistal feet first. Cut 4 small postcard sized pieces of cardboard and attach a length of string on the two tha you place under the rear feet. Feed the string to the front so when you have everything where you want it, you can tilt the machine fwd to retrieve the rear cardboard sliders by pulling the string, then tip the machine back slightly to retrieve tje front two sliders cardboards. Lifting it onto the pedistal with another guy or two may seem intuitive but its the most difficult of your options. Its a heavy, bulky chunk of steel. Use brains (physics) not brawn.

Whatever you do, don't buy online with the expectation that this will be installed. I tried to buy installation service but did not find any online.
