I'm using this sensor with the plain smartthings hub, not the ADT one. You can set it to send alerts when a certain temp is reached.

I dont use the ADT system so I have my leak sensor on my Samsung smartthings hub. Heres a screen shot of the data that this leak sensor shows me.

You can pair with the standard smart things hub. And there is a smart app which will trigger if the temp of any temp sensor hits a value.

Yes. It should work with any hub that supports ZibBee. I have them working with my SmarThings hub,

I'm using it on the original (pre-Samsung) hub, so I imagine it will work with the Samsung hubs as well. I am using it as a temp sensor as well as a water sensor, works great.

No, I don't believe this can even be connected to the ADT version. Connected to my standard ST hub. Data screenshot added.
