Press the settings button til you get to “Rear Speakers” and then hold down the settings button. The screen will now say “Rear Level” and now you can press the up button to increase the volume.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.these are not really 'speakers'. more like 'whispers'.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The problem is when you first cycle through the sound selections of SOUND CONTROL after integrating the rear speakers into your sound bar you will see TREBLE BASS AUDIO SYNC REAR SPEAKERS ON REAR SPEAKER LEVEL but because the info window is so limited what you see after Audio Sync is REA and if you press it again you also see REA and may think it's the same control window so you need to give it time to show the entire message. That said I cannot get mine to show a number higher than 0 even after boosting the value to +6 it reverts back to zero when I check it again but I've only just started experimenting with is. Mine is in a large room ....25x25 with 10 foot ceilings and the rear speakers do seem a bit weak but I am still testing
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.(First, ensure you've linked the rear speakers with the sound bar.) Then, using the Samsung sound bar remote control and the display on the sound bar, press the remote's setting button (gear wheel) repeatedly until Rear Level (after Rear Speakers - on/off) is displayed and press the top (to increase) or bottom (to decrease) of the circular button on the remote to adjust the rear speakers' volume which is indicated by + or - numbers on the display.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You have to Turn them up at each setting In rear volume 150mhz, 300 MHz, ... once you hold down the button, youll see 150 MHz followed by a 0, press the circle up button till you get to 6. Then press setting button again, you’ll see 300 MHz, turn that up, keep going till they are all turned up 150,300, 600, 1.2, 2.5, 5, 10
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't think so. Ours aren't very loud and would love to increase the volume, but haven't found any way to do that.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. After turning up the level to +6 I can barely hear with the rear speaker 15ft from the TV. Definitely uses a very small wattage driver. Not worth the money. Wouldn't recommend buying these. Although I am very pleased with the 3.1 soundbar.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. To turn the volume up you need to do more then change it to 6 plus. You need to push the setting button until it says rear speakers then hold it until it says volume. Turn it up to 6 then push the settings button then it will say 300HZ 0 push that all the way up to 6 and keep doing that until it says 10k at that point it will be max volume
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.@DRG1953 it's cause the woofer button on the remote how it pushes up or and down that's how you adjust the level you want but if you press in the woofer button depending on whatever setting your hovering over at the time it will reset back to 0 just like if you press it when out of the menu it will set the SW back to 0 it's so stupid it took me ages to con on to it,
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do not know if this will help or not but ironically when I connect my Samsung Television to Samsung HW-R650 Soundbar Speakers, Subwoofer and I also have the 8500s rear speakers. When I connect using Bluetooth they are significantly louder than using a HDMI ARC LINE.
I would recommend:
