No. These are for the new Sound+ soundbars.

I am correcting my earlier review which panned the 9000s. First they are compatible with the 650. second if you want full 3D room filling sound, these speakers are essential. The combination of the Samsung 650 soundbar and the 9000S speakers produces full throated crystal clear surround sound especially if the volume is turned up to movie theater levels. Some have complained the 9000s speakers are not loud enough or do not convey enough voice. Remember they are surround sound speakers whose function is to add 5.1 channel depth to a 3.1 channel sound bar. Very satisfied with this relatively inexpensive home theatre system.

Yes. They are designed to complement the 650. However I found the surround speakers to be unnecessary and even to reduce the clarity, bass and spatial sound distribution of the the 650. The surround speakers are inferior to t sound bar so mixing the two tends to sonically blur the qualities of the sound bar. I returned them.

I went to buy these today and was told they were not compatible can anyone confirm?
