Please try again later.the difference is the size although they look very similar they aren't. this is a SD card which is for memory, not a sim card which is for connection to the towers for internet, calls, and texts this is a micro sdxc card, you don't have to buy this Nintendo branded one, but I heard it's recommended because it's made to transfer all the data to the switch efficiently to play games and other stuff.
