“Can this device connect with amazom music? Can I create a playlist and download it to the device (when its online) but them listen to it while it is not connected to the internet? I would like to use with amazon music for the playlist but use offline.”

You may transfer the music files after downloading them to your computer due to the DRM (Digital Rights Management) system. If you go into the music library, most of the music can be purchased digitally either but album or individual songs. Any mp3 can just be dragged from your pc to the device easily.
