What bluetooth version does this device use? null

I searched the MP3 player and the website (datasheet) for the Bluetooth version and could not find the version. It should work with 99% of all modern Bluetooth headphones, earbuds, bone conduction, and Bluetooth car stereos because most are backward-compatible to older Bluetooth versions.

Please allow us to inform you that we have only tested the player with BT headphones up to Bluetooth 4.0. However, this player uses an older version of chipset that is only Bluetooth v2.1 +EDR. The player may not support headphones that support Bluetooth 4.0 or above.
