This works great with Series X|S. I am using it for playing non-optimized games from. Extremely fast load times. Speeds close to the internal drive and Seagate Expansion Card. 950+Gb usable is great. Can hold about 8-10 games (around 100 Gb size) (more if smaller size). Still can not use it for Series X|S optimized games but for back-compat Xbox One/360/OG games provides a great gaming experience. Paired with a 4 TB Seagate Game Drive or NAS for storage and you have enough storage for everything. Definitely worth the purchase for Series X|S, but next-gen gaming
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi, please be informed that this SSD can be connected as an external drive connected to your XBOX Series X Gaming Console. If your XBOX allows playing games that are installed on an externally connected disk drive, then you should be able to play games on your XBOX using this SSD Drive. However, in order to know how to do the same if possible, we suggest you to contact Microsoft customer support.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the 2TB version. It works perfectly with the Xbox Series X. I've previously had it on the One X and now the Series X, and it's a great drive. Very fast. Compared to the 2TB Seagate I had previously, it's cut load times down to near nothing. Stays cool while in use. Very impressive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes but it will need reset/reformatted to use it on the Series X
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sort of. From what I understand from Microsoft, the only games you can have on an External USB drive are for the Xbox/Xbox 360/Xbox One. I think you can also have whatever photo/video files on it as well. Series X games have to go on the internal drive or on the new Seagate expansion drive to support the speed required.
