• Yes, you can transfer voice memos to the flash drive. It's not 'automatic' You still have to save the memo sound file to the drive. The SanDisk app takes you through the process of setting it up but it's basically similar to when you want to save an image, say from a web site, to our photo app. You can also find details at SanDisk's 'support' website for the product.

• If you have saved audio files on your phone, you should be able to transfer them off of a compatible Apple device to this. It wouldn't do so automatically, you would need to select the files that you want to move over.
