• The Sandisk Cruzers are 2.0 USB flash drives and the Ultras are 3.0 USB flash drives. The 3.0 is newer and faster. If you connect a 3.0 Ultra to a 3.0 USB port on your computer, you will spend less time waiting for files to be transferred.

• the ultra is faster then the cruzer . I have seen transfer rates on the ultra hit 90 + mb sec.
