That is usually due your flash drive being formatted with the FAT32 file system, which has a limit of 4GB for each individual file. To fix this you can replace the FAT32 file system on the flash drive with NTFS, which does not have the 4GB limit. To do that, make sure the flash drive does not have any data that you need, then right click on it, select Format and choose NTFS. You can check the box next to the Quick Format option and it should only take a minute or two. After that is done, you should be able to move files that are larger than 4GB to your flash drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.USB flash drives are usually formatted as FAT32 so that they can be used with either PC or MAC computers and devices. The FAT32 system has a maximum file size of 4GB minus 1 byte. So, any video that is larger than 4GB in size will not be able to be transferred onto the thumb drive. If you use your thumb drive only with PC, you can re-format the thumb drive as NTFS. If you use it only with a Mac, you can re-format the drive to HFS Plus. Both of these systems have much higher file size limitations, but they are limited to their own platform (either PC or Mac).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Reformat your flash drive in the ExFAT setting. FAT formatted drives seem to have a 4gb or less file size limit. Other thing to check is that you are plugging drive in to a USB 3.0 port. Not all of the USB ports on your comp are 3.0. This would not affect your file transfer size, but would affect the speed of transfer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Format to ntfs, Then it will work. It is formatted to the old way. I had same issues.
