Most of the time this is either a file format issue or file reading issue. Best way to figure out is dump a bunch of different music files in different folders and from different formats. (So that if 1 works you can track where it is and what type of file format it is, then you’ll know what to use and where to put it on the usb drive) Most computers can play a wide range of audio formats (WMA, MP3, MP4, etc…) but phones, cars, and speakers are very picky. I’ve had this issue before on getting a certain app to play music on my phone. All the files were WMA so I had to download a special WMA player just to listen to them, then I converted the files to MP3 and it worked on everything after that.
