I asked the guy in the Best Buy store if the screw was included, he said "YES" after looking it up. The box in his hand he was clutching for security purposes even said no screw included on it in tiny print. Great Job Best Buy! You guys hosed me!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Please allow us to inform you that we do not provide screws as a standalone with our product. Since, screws are the part of the motherboard, please contact motherboard manufacturer to get one. However, a typical 2.5" SSD the mounting threads for these drives could be M3 type x 4mm. You may verify the same with motherboard manufacturer before installation.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It isn't too important due to the stick being so light. Usually the motherboard or tower comes with the screws but this is by no mean standard. I recommend going to Harbor Fright or some tool store to get a medley of screws for under 10 bucks. I have a bunch laying around so i didn't have to spend anything but ive built quite a few systems over the years.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You'll need an M2 Screw. They're super tiny! Unfortunately Best Buy doesn't sell them but try amazon.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not sure about the size of the screw, but all motherboards, if bought new, should include a plastic bag with all necessary screws and standoffs for installation, including screws to install a M.2. Even the refurbished motherboard I bought included it. I would double check your box for it, but if you’ve lost it, you can buy spares online for a relatively cheap price. Just search up “M.2 screws”.
