Any USB will work as long as you have the right information DELL needs already saved on the USB.

It says USB because that’s one of the ways you can get past your computer’s security. By “hacking” past the password by booting a USB software program. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you did not setup a reset key before being locked out, you may be out of luck. You can reset your pc to factory defaults and start over. If you are using a microsoft account on the pc you can likely go to their website and reset the password there. If it is a local account and you do not know the password, you might be able to find someone who can hack it for you. If not you may be out of luck.
