• Yes, it has Secure Vault which you password protect for sensitive files. And, it's easy to set up and you do not need to go to the SanDisk website to create a password.

• Please allow us to inform you that this USB Drive comes with SecureAccess which is an optional preloaded encryption application which helps you to password protect the data on the drive. It is not mandatory to use the application you can delete the SecureAccess files from the drive and use the drive as a plug and play device.
