Yes it will work with your Android phone, assuming it uses a USB C connector (most recent phones do). The number of pictures it will store is dependent on the resolution of the pictures. Take the size of your picture file in MB and divide by 1000 to get the size in GB. Then divide that into the size of the drive to get the approximate number of pictures.
