That is the exact purpose I bought this for. Works great in my Model X.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Fat 32 is slower than ntfs and does not support file transfers larger than 4gb. You will ultimately need a video editing program if you need to transfer large video files created by your dash cam. All USB drives can be formatted to fat 32 using a computer. Some older hardware may not support USB 3.1 (is rare though).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure how they come formatted. You can pop it in your computer and reformat it to fat32 if it comes in another format.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just put it in your computer and format it to whatever standard you want. FAT 32 isn't a problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe you can format it to a fat32 when you put on a pc and then right click on it choose format then choose fat32 instead of ntfs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.FAT32 is a file system format. You can format this drive as FAT32 if you have a Windows computer with a USB port, but be aware of the limitations. Windows can only format up to up to 32 gb in a FAT32 partition. You will need a third party utility to format 128 gb. Also, you will be limited to saving files no larger than 4 gb on FAT32.

Please try again later.https://www.wikihow.com/Format-FAT32 Check the link about how format the drive SanDisk But is only up to 32 GB not 128 GB Any flash drive with 32 GB of memory works for you dash cam I prefer SanDisk why it is a reliable brand and always at the forefront apart includes a year of online backup
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.OOPS, I forgot, I don't think a flash drive can be formatted beyond 32 Gb in Fat32. I ran into this issue loading a flash drive full of music to put in my trucks USB slot. But as I said above, however it comes formatted it can be reformatted to Fat32 in your computer.
