The usual standard is "(but not in all cases)" is the more expensive the faster the speed based on the same sized memory card. Sale prices make a difference too. Look at the MB/s, that usually governs the price as well as the size. Another think to look at is of it say's "PRO" or "Extreme" the read/write speeds are higher and are meant for high burst rate camera shoots, High frame rate video, or 4k video recording. If you are shooting video, look for a class 10 card, with as fast a read/write speed that you can afford. Also, some of the more expensive cards may have additional features, such as more durability in extreme conditions.

Plus you might be able to get more GB for $59.99 than you would with $19.99. Just make sure The device your using can handle more gb. If you don't know. I would go with a 32gb sd card. Most devices is usually the minimum it could handle.
