Possible solution depending on your camera model is checking the memory card slot cover. If the memory card lid of your camera says SD Duo Pro or something else you need to buy that card. E.g: My really old Sony Cyber Shot camera (720p) was working with Memory Stick Duo Pro, but as an example This one "https://www.bestbuy.com/site/sony-cyber-shot-rx100-vii-20-1-megapixel-digital-camera-black/6364719.p?skuId=6364719" accepts both SD and Memory Stick medias.
