Through Best Buy, you can return a product 15 days after purchase. The warranties through the companies sometimes go through Best Buy, so you can try returning it as defective there, or contact SanDisk with proof of purchase and they should be able to help out. Usually manufacturer warranties for things like this are one year long, occasionally two years.

Trust me I've had my share of not knowing what I was doing & had to ask someone more knowledgeable than I was. But if you have a Smart Phone, Laptop or Desktop computer then trust me your S.D.CARD CAN BE FORMATTED
