I just foolishly purchased a SanDisk Ultra Pus SDXC 64 GB card from another store. It wasn't until my brother said I should check the official Fujifilm website to make sure that the card is compatible that I realized it's not. http://www.fujifilm.com/support/digital_cameras/compatibility/card/s/ say it is not compatible with the Finepix S2950 and that you have to use an SDHC no higher than a 32 GB. I bought the bigger memory card thinking it would be OK because the last card I used in my camera was from the same company and it too was an Ultra Plus. But I didn't pay attention to the part that says SDXC. I had no idea it makes a difference. I just wanted more memory. Oops!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This memory card is not compatible with the FinePix S2950 . Your cameras will not accept the type 'SDXC' and/or 64gb cards. The cameras need the type 'SDHC' with a maximum 32gb card. I purchased this memory card and when it did not work I went to the FujiFilm website to find out if it was compatible. It took some effort to find this information; first my owner's manual had the wrong website link to the list of compatible memory cards. I did a search on the website to get to the list; the memory card information is the same for your S2950 and my S2900.
