QuestionHello, I just installed this mount for my 75inch tv. My only issue is the strong tension to pull the tv from the wall and push the arms back in. Is there a way to loosen this tension? You can do so for tilt and swivel, but I didn't see for arm extension.

- Answer I called the Sanus customer/technical service line about this and they told me there was no way to ease this tension, or stiffness, in the arms. They said that tension or stiffness might loosen over time with repeat movement, but I feel like I'm going to snap my 65" TV in half every time I pull it away from the wall.

- Answer Hey Babs, This mount can fit both 16" and 24" studs, but not if you have a stud right in the middle of where you want this mount. We still can center it, I just need you to give us a ring @ 800-359-5520 and we can walk you through how to do this. Thanks! Jake @ SANUS

QuestionHow is cable management with this wall mount when using In-wall cable routing. Are you able to use the space within the wall frame mount for a power outlet or do you have to go outside the mount?

- Answer Not enough room for a std face plate. We installed a large proprietary box which included a cable slot and angled outlet. Anything needs to be above or below the bracket, but the tv will hide it well and the bracket arms include cable concealers within them.

QuestionWhat is the mounting width of the wall bracket? The wall I am mounting to is built with 2x6's so the distance between the studs is larger than that of a wall built with 2x4's. Previous mount is not wide enough to reach the studs.

- Answer Hi MissG, For this size screen on the BLF228, you will get about 70 degrees of rotation on either side. I think a 30" extension would be better for the greatest angle. Kathryn @SANUS

QuestionCan you mount this on a concrete block wall? I have heard that the concrete will crumble in time around the anchors and the tv could fall. If so any suggests.

QuestionI mounted the Sanus full motion 42” to 90” using an LG 65 inch flat screen. There is a considerable amount of of wiggle back and forth where the tv mount meets the wall mount. I have tightened all screws. Is this normal?

Questionwhat is the weight of the mount?

- Answer This mount actually has three pieces. The piece that screws to the tv and the bracket that gets mounted to the wall were about 2 and 8lbs respectively. It was the arm assembly that was quite heavy, so much that I actually weighed it. It came to 28.2 lbs.

QuestionI want to purchase a Sony - 70" Class - LED - X690E Series television. I need a heavy-duty wall mount that includes horizontal swivel. Which of these two mounts do you think would be a better fit for this device, the Blf228-b1 or the Blf213-b1? Thanks.

- Answer I can only comment on the Blf228-b1. I haven't used the Blf213-b1. But I can say that the Blf228-b1 works very well with my Samsung 8000-series 75-inch TV. It seems to handle the weight just fine, and it does provide a wide range of motion. It requires a little bit of effort to pull the TV out, away from the wall, but I don't find that to be a problem. And the TV swivels rotationally a bit more easily than I would like, which means you sometimes wind up needing to straighten it to perfectly horizontal. But it's very easy to do. All in all, I am quite satisfied with the Blf228-b1. I hope this helps.
