Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.First of all, 27" on center is very unusual...typically they are 16" or 24" on center. Sometimes, plaster walls can be deceiving because the nails from the wood lathe register on a magnetic stud finder. However, if your studs are in fact 27" on center, this is NOT an ideal wall mount as the weight is meant to be distributed over 16" or 24" on center spans.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.i believe so, it has little slots in it to be able to move it around, it comes with a little paper cut out of the mount to test it before you install it. i installed this on my own with an additional stud finder i found
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, max stud spacing is about 22.4 inches center to center.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. When framing a house, the studs are suppose to be placed every 12" on center. That means ever 12" there should be a stud. However, a lot of times they may be slightly further apart or closer together. I would recheck and make sure there isn't another stud in between the two you found. If not, then your house may not be up to code (not sure about what state you are in) and a bigger issue than just how to hang the tv. Hope this helps.
