Hello, Thank you for your interest in Satechi. We can confirm that the Satechi Aluminum Multi-Port Adapter V2 will be able to utilize audio and video through the HDMI port. However, the Apple Super drive is not with the USB-A ports on the adapter as it requires more power than the ports allow.
