Hey there - We're sorry for any confusion. The 430 elliptical has 20 levels of computer controlled resistance, so you do not have to get off the machine to adjust the resistance. The 430 elliptical does, however, provide 6 different incline options that are adjusted manually. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to contact our Customer Care team - we are happy to help! Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has magnetic and incline resistance. The magnetic resistance is automatically varied during the program workouts or you can change it manually. The incline resistance can only be set when you are off the elliptical. The incline remains constant while the program workouts vary the resistance and you also manually increase or decrease the magnetic resistant. I’m happy with my Schwinn 430; it provides a good workout
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The incline is manually adjusted. The resistance will change with the program or can be changed using the up/down buttons on either side of the panel.
