• Depends on car but for my Honda accord it does not. If worried just unplug.

• That probably depends on your car. It doesn't have an off button, but if you're worried about it draining your car it's very easy to unplug and plug back in when you start your car.

• There is not an off button. In my 2007 Honda Accord, the electrical systems have to be turned on via the ignition key before the unit can draw power. If the key is not in it, it won't work. I do not know about newer model vehicles.
