Depends on car but for my Honda accord it does not. If worried just unplug.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is not an off button. In my 2007 Honda Accord, the electrical systems have to be turned on via the ignition key before the unit can draw power. If the key is not in it, it won't work. I do not know about newer model vehicles.
