The manufacturer warranty applies, which SCUF defines as 1-year from date of purchase from the retailer. If buying a SCUF controller, I recommend adding the Best Buy Protection coverage, as the warranty from SCUF is difficult to receive support on from the manufacturer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It does not allow for any Scuf warranty. The only “Scuf Warranty given will be through the Scuf website”. Geek squad/ Best Buy will say whatever it takes to make a sale but, after 1 month playing 2 hours a day wether it’s madden, cod, battlefield, and racing game, NFS Forza etc. your 200 plus dollar controller will for sure have stuck drift. In case you’ve only ever had a regular Xbox controller. Stick drift is a if your right stick or left is stuck looking up or down or to this way or that way which. Obviously makes the controller pretty much useless. Scuf of course offers warranty etc. but downfall is you’ll have to send the controller in and wait 7-15 business days for them to reply of what it is wrong with the controller and if their “warranty covers it”. Pretty much they won’t. Or they’ll say they fixed it … when they didn’t and you’ll sit with it. The Xbox elite v2s do the same thing all controllers have stick drift. If you get computer duster spray and obviously with the cover and thumb sticks off you can blast it into where the analog is. It really does help. I’ve had the same instinct pro Xbox one controller for over a year and I play more than anyone. Yes it has stick drift yes I’ve dropped it but it’s not terrible and it gets the job done. Plus once you get a 200 dollar controller a regular controller is just plain annoying. Like dating a hottie at a 10/10 than going to a 2/10. Your choice yes it’ll make you better at any game ever. The scuf. Great for littler hands the elite v2 is for huge hands.
