Do not need them the side panel slides off by hand and it is one screw to remove. Go on YouTube see how easy it is to upgrade and afterwards you can say i did that!!!

No, I went to Gamestop and they recommend the piggyback system that goes on the top of the PS4. I was able to upgrade to 2TB with no system problems

No, no company's do that whatsoever BUT sony is planning on either releasing seperate hard-drives and adding and removing storage device's.
