Q: QuestionA:Answer Just need to plug into your computer. If you have a Mac, you will need to reformat it. Question: Why does this exterior HD need reformatting for Mac usage?

• A:Answer It's because Macintosh uses a different file storage system than Windows computers. This drive is pre-formatted to work out of the box for windows computers, thus it won't have full compatibility with your Mac out of the box. I use my drive for both my windows and mac computers, but I had to divide it into two different file partitions.

• A:Answer I don’t know if you are speaking of executable files and I don’t know I have not tried to use it in that why. I save photos and videos to it and then have access. I treat it just like an extra hard drive. I download files from the internet to it. I actually do not use it as a back up

• A:Answer I would think you would want to use a faster hard drive for your PS5. I use an SSD drive for my external drive. You will take a big performance hit if you use a slower hard drive like this for your PS5.
