If it is beeping, it is probably mechanically failed. You should be able to get it replaced under the manufacturer's warranty, but your data may be lost if it is no longer recognized. If you bring it into your local Geek Squad, they can send it out for Data Recovery, however, you would then be unable to get it replaced through the manufacturer's warranty.
