Google internal memory install. There’s a great video. You remove on screw on the bottom of the unit. Then there’s a screw yon remove to hold this unit down. It snaps in place and you put the screw in to hold it down then put the cover back in place. It is truly plug and play and incredibly simple. Took me about 10 minutes.

You don’t need an adapter and it will fit right in. Sony has a tutorial on how to install your SSD and all you need is a screwdriver.

Please try again later.When you pull off the side plate on the right side of your ps5 you will see a metal shield that can be removed by unscrewing the black screw that holds it down. It gets installed under it. You can find various videos on YouTube, but no adapter is needed. I was able to do it in less than 3 minutes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Its easy, just take the outside plate off of the ps5 then unscrew this little metal brscket then the screw under it then insert the ssd at a angle and it slides right in then screw everything back up
