6,500 MB/s seems to be average for this SSD. It is quicker than the Samsung 7,000 MB/s SSD so there is no issues with the drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Real world read speeds will vary no matter what. A couple hundred megabytes per second difference up or down will not make any perceptible difference.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That's about what mine topped out at when I installed it on my PS5. 6500+ MB/s is absurdly fast and nothing to sneeze at. Consider this for perspective: The stock PS5 ssd runs at about 5500-6000MB/s. You'll be very happy with this as an expansion.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is normal, this is exactly what my drive reads in my console as well, this happens with the Samsung drives as well in the PS5, this is caused by the PlayStation hardware and not the actual drive itself.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My speeds were in the 6,000 range too. I think it's normal. Still just as good maybe faster than the hard drive that came in the ps5
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yeah that about normal your not going to get full read speed on a ps5
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The 7,300 MB/s is the highest speed Seagate could get with optimal conditions. Mine gets the same speed in my PS5 as well. This is why I did not get the WD Black drive though since its actual read speed would be inferior. Have fun gaming!
