A:AnswerThe Segway emoped is splash proof and can hold up to going through big puddles but as far as leaving it out in the rain I would not recommend doing that. The battery is also IPX7 waterproof making it very very durable.
A:AnswerThank you for your question Angels. The C80 is a moped-styled ebike. It does have pedals but their intended use is to safeguard you in the event the battery dies, you still have a way of getting home. We recommend checking the charge level of the C80 prior to beginning your journey to ensure it is fully charged. That said however, you dont need to use the auto cruise if you dont want to. You can activate this as necessary and when you want.
A:AnswerSjhrocks, It depends on the riders height, weight, and road conditions, but in general, the C80 can climb hills that are around 15% hill grades.
A:AnswerMe10,
Yes, you are able to purchase the C80 directly at some stores. We suggest you call the store before going to make sure they have this unit available for pick up and not just placing the order at the store.
We appreciate your question and we thank you for your interest on the eMoped C80.
A:AnswerHi JonMar378,
We do not have the front basket for the C80 available for purchase at this time.
We are hoping to have for sale in the near future.
Thank you.
A:AnswerHi Alex, thank you for your question. Unfortunately, I can't speak to what the metro rail will allow. May I recommend that you contact them directly. What I can provide are the dims of the C80 ... 62.87”×28.35”×40.08” in and weighs 165 lbs. I hope this helps.
A:AnswerAll of our units including C80's where designed and created without the need for license. That being said, it doesn't mean you will not abide to any local laws or state saying riders would need license.
Always ask and refer to local/state laws and regulations when riding any Segway specifically C80
A:AnswerI originally asked this because of knee surgery I’m concerned if I
can bend my knee enough to use the foot pegs. How tall someone else is does not help me.
