- Answer I’m a truck drive and 8 of us bought one! We have a guy that weighs at least 350 and he rides it everywhere with us. Just looses more battery power because of it draining.

- Answer Because the battery is lithium, it’s always best to use direct charging for any larger batteries. It’s safer.

QuestionHow much does the electricity bill cost for this monthly on average?

- Answer So I do not know where you live, lowest rate may be Utah at about 10 cents/kwh, highest is Hawaii at about 37 cents/kwh. Our unit needs about 1/2 kwh for full charge. So you will have to do the rest of the math of how much you will be using the Max.

QuestionWhen you fold the handle bar down, does it attach to the rear tire in a secure way so that you can pick up the scooter by the handle bar when its folded? The ninebot folds down and doesn't latch so it's very annoying for transporting.

- Answer No. Make sure you wear a helmet because on each bump you hit and the speeding at revved is somewhat making it unstable

- Answer Best Buy does not offer any protection plan for this scooter but Segway gives you a 1-year limited warranty. I suggest keeping the box and receipt. The scooter is great, seems to be built tough.

- Answer Tires are tubless because the valve is its own entety and they hold air... also they have a puncture easiling goop inside so dont have to worry much about nails or stuff like that

- Answer Gen 2, the gray one is Gen 2 as well, but goes slower, and one third as far, with less room for your feet, and is overall way worse. If this was the gen 1 still than id say get the gray one. But every ninebot max that is sold by best buy is a Gen 2 motor now since july 2021. Hope that helps

QuestionOperating range seems to be under 30 miles after careful reading of the spec: The battery is 36V with capacity of 15.3A/h, motor power 350W. At max speed of 18.6mi/h, assuming at maximum motor power, 18.6*36*15.3/350=29.2, not 40 as promised in the spec?

- Answer It would be okay on gravel on low low speed. The wheels doesn’t have a good traction for gravel. It does have hydroplane traction. I tried riding in grass as well but the power is too strong and the wheel spins in place before taking off
