- Answer If you look on the best buy website the info says that this sub will work with the Sennheiser sound bar family. So yes. Hope this helps.

QuestionI have a Sony Bravia x950H and a seinheiser ambeo soundbar. These two initially paired fine but now no sound comes out of the bar even though the TV recognizes it. Any help with this issue?

- Answer Had same issue today. Just got my soundbar few weeks ago. Found an article on how to troubleshoot and to my surprise it worked - unplug tv and sb and wait 2 min - plug in and turn on tv and turn to some program so u get sound through tv - plug in sb and turn on In my case sb turned on and sound started to come through. Before that i spent probably an hour troubleshooting and resetting

QuestionMy ambeo keeps making period sounds when not in use. Like a button is being pressed, but the remote is put up and no one is utilizing the sound bar. Any ideas on how to fix this?

- Answer Sennheiser makes a specific wall mount kit for it. It's heavy duty. It needs to be because the Ambeo Max is heavy. It's available at Best buy

QuestionSo I purchased Ambeo Max & added Ambeo Sub, can I add another Ambeo Sub or is that feature only allowed with the Plus wirelessly? Directions show up to 4, But only 1 single jack for output,could split output jack once(2×?) but that would halve output?

QuestionSo, Ambeo SoundbarMax will not recognize AmbeoSubwoofer, cannot access Sennheiser Smart Control App( awaiting support call back....maniacal laughing ensues !!!!!!!) I am using an RCA(mono) cable, recalibration with soundbar doesn't work, Bluetooth no go.

- Answer The app will tell you that you have to unplug the bass from the soundbar (1); then pair it to your smartphone app (2); then update the sub's software (3). After that, it is connected, then you connect it (plug) to the soundbar.

- Answer I bought the Sennheiser Ambeo and I am very pleased with it....easy set up and good quality sound. Bass "OK" but you can add a sub to it if not satisfied. Previous system was sophisticated Definitive Technology speakers with built in subs (Total 3800 watts) so of course this sondbar sub is going to sound weak to me. Overall, sound quality is good and the product is very handsome on the media console. You will need to raise up the TV about 3 inches on a small platform, since the Sennheiser is tall.

QuestionHas anyone tried using this as an active loudspeaker for music? I have a Bricasti M3 external DAC and a tube preamp. Has anyone tried streaming Tidal through Roon via an external DAC/Pre and running RCA out from pre into the soundbar?

- Answer I tried connecting a Sony CD ES multi disc player via it's optical output to the optical input of the Soundbar. After a few minutes, the Soundbar would turn off. Maybe if you use an HDMI connection it would work, or maybe my unit is defective. I wrote 2 reviews for this unit.

QuestionHow to setup separate subwoofer? Manual says put the cross-frequency to max on subwoofer - Does that seem right? I thought cross-frequency should be between 50-80hz and then calibrate?

- Answer The AMBEO's calibration will handle setting the crossover automatically. Put the sub at max so that you don't artificially limit its participation.
