Q: QuestionTell me about, Selectable automatic level and balance controls.I hear better from my left ear so balance controls or separate volume controls would be nice.

• A:Answer Hello- The RS 180 system features both the headphone and transmitter. This listing is for an extra headphone-only. Either way, the headphones have volume controls and balance controls on the earcup so that you can control them at any time, wirelessly. I have attached a video link.

Q: QuestionDo all wireless headphones come w/ transmitter?Sennheiser - Open-Aire Wireless Over-the-Ear Headphones (Model: HDR180| SKU: 2602343) I am comparing this product (Open Aire) to the Sennheiser "Dynamic" and "RS-160" headphones. The RS-160 specs mentions transmitter details, while Open Aire and Dynamic wireless headphone spec's do not. Am I to assume that these do not include a transmitter? (Being that the RS-160's regular price is about 100$ more than the others)

• A:Answer Hello- The HDR 180 is the headphone by itself. If you do not already own an RS 180, RS 170 or RS 160, you will not be able to use the HDR 180. The RS 180, RS 170 and RS 160 come with a transmitter AND headphone.

Q: QuestionMy Sennheiser HDR 180 stopped working around 6 months ago, I sent the headset to the Sennheiser Repair Site, got the headset back - $75 to fix the right side of the headset was kaput! It worked for exactly 3 days. Thoughts? It is 10 years old.

• A:Answer Thank you for your question. You can use the RS180 or the RS170 to charge your headphone. However each headphone has unique features (example: RS170 has surround sound and base boost), so we recommend using the correct base station when possible

• A:Answer Yes, these will receive audio from the TR 160 transmitter. You will have to charge the batteries using an alternate charger, however, as the HDR 180 utilizes a different charging contact than the HDR 160 that came with your RS 160 transmitter.
