Mine did that too. Found out it was my WiFi interfering with the signal. Unplugged my router and it worked fine. I notified Sennheiser and they are aware of the problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, mine cuts in and out all the time. Like it has a loose connection i cannot find. I am contemplating bringing it back.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. I have always had a problem of the sound, blipping out. Can’t find a reason. Turned unit off/on, turned TV ofF/on. Changed batteries, and recharged the batteries to max. But it still has this random event. The Manufacturer was of no help. Sennheiser just told it was “out of Warranty’ period. This ‘supports’ sucks for a very expensive item. I used to use $20 RF headphones w/ no problems. It makes me question Sennheiser’s reputation. This is New too: (after 1 1/2 years) now the lights (and power) on the Transmitter seem to ‘fade’ on and off. Unit fails to work when it does this. It is almost spooky. Again, it is totally random. The sound is great, but I can’t rely on any enjoyment from this 175 unit. There will be no support from this self inflated disappointing manufacturer. My recommendation is; DON’T buy it! There are cheaper RF choices. [stay away from Bluetooth to avoid latency issues].
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I bought these because I thought Sennheiser would make a great product....but they suck beyond belief. DO NOT BUY THESE. Geez I cannot express how much I hate these headphones that I wasted $300 on. This is my last Sennheiser purchase.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes mine fade in and out all the time. Extremely annoying. DO NOT BUY THESE!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes.....I returned it and bought a more expensive one and it still does it
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Here is the Solution. Wrap the receiver in tin foil and it will block the digital signals around it that are interfering. It works but does not look the best. It is the only solution unless you down grade to the RS120. That one will work with all the wifi signals around the room.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had this issue crop up while streaming hulu to a chromecast. I unplugged the wifi router, and also the headphone receiver. Then disconnected the optical audio input from the back of the headphone reciever made sure the cable's path was clear from the tv to the headphone receiver. It was tangled around some of the other cables. I plugged everything back in and once reconnected, the dropout issue went away. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Definitely a router issue, I moved my headphones and plugged them in to my computer that is located in my basement worked perfectly
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I figured out my Sennheiser headphones worked great when my tv was on a wireless signal but the minute I connected the tv to my router via either net cable the headphones cut out, the minute I switched the tv back to wireless the problem stoped. Side note my headphones are connected to the tv bu optical cord. I have the RS 175 model.
