Looks to me like the first run of this release will include a Steelbook at no additional price. So it isn't really costing any extra money. If you're looking at the $90 version you get to play it 48 hours early as well as some in game items. I rarely get those versions as they don't usually offer much for the additional price. That's just my opinion though.

It's just a box preference, if the game is at full price and the outside shell doesn't matter to you, which it might for some collectors, then no it's not worth paying more.
