No…what ignorant engineer thought a vacuum that falls over when you let it go was a solid move forward. And how many more nitwits approved this design? Lol.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. It's my biggest complaint. You have to lay it down if you need to stop during vacuuming. You can detach the canister and hook it onto the front of the stick right above the roller unit if you are storing it or you can order the wall hook if you want to hang it in the closet in one piece.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it does not. I dislike that because at 79, I do not need to be bending over to pick it up....had I known, I never would have bought it
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought my shark vacuum interesting really doesn’t stay standing on its own while in use only when is put away.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Absolutely lazy & ignorant design, vacuum cannot stand up on its own. Be prepared to lean it against a wall or pick it up off the ground. Every single time you use it. Qualified engineering could have easily solved this annoying issue by having more forward stick lean in the locked position. Problem solved. And how many engineers/supervisors/designers thought this was a good idea? Just assign...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've had the same issue with this vacuum. I just bought it a few days ago and I've been using it and wondering why on Earth is it so heavy? And why does it not stand upright on its own? Had I known this I would not have bought it so I'm going back to Walmart where I had bought it for $150 and bringing it back and explaining it for a cordless one for the same price which is most likely a lot lighter. Shark you made a bad move on this one.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it does not. Does have a hook where it can be hung on the wall.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not at all I Called shark to See if maybe I was putting it together wrong as an upright should stay upright. They said no it doesn’t stand upright because it’s top Heavy . No Kidding Sherlock, I said is it covered whem the plastic bin breaks In a fall ? No not at all. If it stayed upright it would be great. Mine is going back as I know it will fall break and it will be money wasted
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thought it was just me, but that is the design, very poor decision somebody made. Nice vacuum but that ruins it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine just fell over and broke and I am so mad. Yes, who approves this design. I had no idea when I bought this that it wouldn’t stand up. I have tried to be careful, but it fell and pieces broke off and it’s not cheap!
