I have two long haired cats. This vacuum does a great job picking up the pet hair. I do clean the brush head once a month to remove the hair from the brushes, but it doesn't get tangled in the rollers, that I have noticed. It is easy to take apart to get to the brushes when it's time to clean them. Hope that helps.

I spend more time unrolling the rollers than I do using the vacuum. The motor on the roller has busted through and now i've been waiting for weeks for a replacement.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Not sure about pet hair but hair does get tangled in the brush roller but you can acces the roller and remove the roller with no tools. It even has a hair removing tool placed near the brush roller when you remove the access panel. Very user friendly.

I have not had much of a problem with hair getting wrapped around the material roller in the front. The hair seems get wrapped around the brush roller but is very easily removed. I love this vacuum couldn't say anything better about it except I wish the attachment holder was a little bit better but it works
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depending on how long the hair is yes. Clumps of hair will collect on rollers. Maintain the rollers frequently if your pet has very long hair.
